#^GE Vernova Hitachi SMR design cleared for use in UKGE Vernova Hitachi's BWRX-300 small modular reactor is suitable for construction in the UK, regulators have concluded following an in-depth Generic Design Assessment. The regulators said there are "no fundamental safety, security, safeguards or environmental protection shortfalls with the design that could prevent its deployment in Great Britain".
