1. Diaspora is dying platform. It doesn't have ActivityPub connection. Connected only to Hubzilla and Friendica, see picture below.
2. I already don't have account on any of Diaspora instance. So try to select diferent platform: #^https://fediverse.party/

Diaspora's user interface is simple and easy to learn. The others are far more complicated and full of extra features most people don't even use. I hope the project get forked so that people who actually give a damn about it can keep it going. The current "team" all too obviously couldn't care less.
