Unfollowing a thread not working here

@!Hubzilla Support Forum I am trying to unsubscribe from/unfollow threads oftenly, especially when discussions get heated. However, as soon as i liked or shared the original post, notifications do not stop upon unfollowing the respective thread.
Does anyone have a similar experience? Or do we know even know, how to end notifications on this?

@Mario Vavti Thanks much, but no, i don't want to disable unseen network activities for one reason alone. It is good to keep them open for many other reasons. Actually similar to not being notified of my own posts: It makes no sense to disable network notifications completely for that reason alone. I feel, that there is a lack of fine control there (no personal pun intended)
