Reza Pahlavi declared the Islamic Republic has in effect reached its end following Khamenei's death, saying any attempt by regime remnants to appoint a successor is doomed to fail and that any successor will lack legitimacy.
He urged military, law enforcement, and security forces to abandon the regime and join the nation, warning that efforts to preserve a collapsing regime will fail. Pahlavi called on Iranians to remain vigilant and prepare for a decisive presence in the streets.
