@Edent might be desirable to some, but this would be the first part of the Mastodon UI I would have to use uBlock to hide. To me, emblematic of the constant depressing drive to monetise everything.

@Edent Rather than changing Mastodon, a solution might be to add a link in your webfinger data.
"rel = https://sometipservice.com?id=foo@bar.com", then compatible clients can add the button.
