Brand new Hubzilla user here. I'm active on Mastodon and have been exploring other Fediverse services.

Kindof thinking of setting up a server. Mastodon is good. As a Twitter user I genuinely like it. But ActivityPub is missing core functionality. So, I dug through AP docs and was like, why can't I mix and match posts from Mastodon, Lemmy, Peertube, Friendica, et all ... onto a single timeline? Whoever I subscribe to! (well, I found a long blog post by one of the Diaspora devs on why that's not currently possible).

And why do I need a separate login and manual account creation for every service? Why does nobody run a bunch of ActivityPub services on one machine and then configure Single Sign On? I mean, my old school thinking would be, use Kerberos! But I guess OpenID is way to go. Which, OK! I don't care! Whatever works!

But what I want is a content creation tool that integrates with all ActivityPub services, so I can post to them. And I want ... which I don't think HubZilla does ... is integration with WordPress w/ActivityPub plugin. I want a way to easily present my blog to Mastodon. Because that's where the users are (for now).

Is this possible here? Or do I roll my own and do something stupid and unmaintainable?

About Wordpress, there is some connector, but didn't try then yet. Just installed. Try it: #^https://libera.site/apps/available

So here's a question: I've followed myself from here on Mastodon, Friendica, and Diaspora. Couldn't make Lemmy work. About to try PixelFed.

What I see is that I can read material from me (posts, boosts, etc), but I can't post into those feeds from here. So, from HubZilla, I seem unable to compose a post and feed it into the Mastodon stream. But that should be possible. If you argue, what about remote authentication, well, let me counter, what about running all those services on a single machine and using SSO like OpenID? Then all that would be necessary is to feed a composed post into the Mastodon API directly and let Mastodon handle posting to its feed.

Sorry, didn't get it. My test Mastodon account see my posts from here. Or do you mean something different?
